Management Trainee Program

The 3-year program is specially designed for all fresh graduates. Suitable candidates will be offered a structured career development program covering:

Induction & training

This is to help you understand the background of the Company and become familiar with different operations.

Job Rotation

You will rotate through different departments such as Air Freight, Ocean Freight and Commercial to obtain a strong foundation in all-round logistics management and general management skills and knowledge.

Project Management, Process Improvement

You will participate in various interesting projects and process improvement initiatives to understand how we promote First Choice to enhance customer satisfaction by structured methodology.

After completing the Program

Depending on individual performance, development opportunities and further advancement to managerial positions will be available for trainees with outstanding performances and capabilities to progress further along their career ladder.

To apply for the Management Trainee Program, you should possess the following qualities:

• Good command of spoken and written English
• Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Team player and customer oriented
• Creative, open-minded and self-motivated
• Diligent, willing to work on irregular hours
• Keen interest in pursuing a career in logistics industry
• Graduates from any discipline. Academic logistics background is not mandatory
• Mobility

Mentoring

You will be assigned to a mentor to help you integrate into the Company and provide you with guidance throughout the 3-year program.

Training and Development

DHL will provide you with both on-the-job training, in-house training as well as external training. Courses will be focused on the solid knowledge and management skills required in the daily operations.

Future Career Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the Program, you will be placed to a variety of departments and locations, taking into consideration your professional knowledge, competencies, career aspirations, as well as the requirements of the Company.

Overseas Assignment

You will be provided opportunity to expose to a variety of overseas offices, subject to your career aspirations and DHL’s business need.
