The Notice for Imported Consignments

In order to improve the delivery efficiency of B2C items imported from overseas and allow cross-border online shoppers to receive items earlier, DHL Express is going to launch Proactive Redirection if the recipient is not at home, in addition to the original door-to-door delivery service. Making use of the self-collection locker network (with more than 1,300 locations in total from DHL Locker, Chunghwa Post iBox, and Palm Box) with the best coverage in Taiwan, the imported B2C items will now be automatically redirected to a collection point nearest to the recipient who can then collect it at his/her convenience e.g. after work or on the way home. This redirecting service for B2C imported items is activated automatically in the event that the recipient is not at home. By making use of its advanced IT system, DHL will inform the recipient of the item’s location, the password for retrieval and other relevant information via text message. If the recipient would like DHL to redeliver the item or send it to another location, it can be easily customized through DHL’s “On Demand Delivery” system after keying in the bill of lading number.
