DHL ranks No. 1 in Taiwan Ideal Brand survey for fifth consecutive year

DHL, the world’s leading express and logistics company, has been ranked as the top Taiwan Ideal Brand in the ‘International Express & Logistics’ category for the fifth consecutive year in an annual brand survey conducted by Taiwan’s Marketing Magazine.

“The reason why DHL stood out in such a competitive field is DHL’s commitment in service excellence for our customers,” said Connie Tang, General Manager of DHL Express Taiwan.

“For example, our popular Time Definite Delivery service, which offers express services in 12 countries and 22 cities in Asia Pacific to Europe for time-sensitive shipments, and our new Express Pallet, a packaging and transport solution specifically designed for shipments weighing from 50kg to 100kg, are customized services for our customers to make the delivery process worry-free. We are very pleased that our effort has been recognized by customers,” added Ms. Tang.

Ms. Tang noted that DHL’s investments in its network infrastructure are distinctive. DHL Express Taiwan launched the first Quality Control Center in Taiwan last August, which utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and technology to enable proactive shipment management, crisis and security management.

In addition, DHL’s Strategic Parts Center (SPC) located in Hsinchu was the first SPC in Asia Pacific to be awarded with ‘Class A’ certification from the Technology Asset Protection Association (TAPA). A total of nine TAPA ‘Class A’ certifications have been awarded to DHL in Taiwan. DHL is committed to continuously invest in Taiwan to provide its customers with quality services.

Ms. Tang added that businesses across all industries are entering a new era of providing value-added services for their customers. In addition to enhancing DHL’s quality in express and logistics services, DHL has held seminar and invited Customs experts from China and the United States to share in-depth and first-hand information with customers. DHL has also invited renowned logistics experts to present the latest Supply Chain Management trends and knowledge to customers, to further improve their business efficiency and enhance their global competitiveness.
