DHL Upgrades Online Services
Offering efficient integrated e-commerce services for web users
DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company announced the upgrade of its online services of Trade Advisory Services and Import Express Online which offer efficient integrated e- commerce tools for easier use of DHL's services and trade information.
Trade Advisory Services covers a menu of services that will effectively expand the comprehensive suite of products under the global DHL Global Trade Services (GTS) platform. It complements three other key features of the DHL Global Trade Services, which comprises Importer and Exporter of Record Services, Customs Brokerage Services, and Trade Automation Services. Global Trade Services - used widely by both first time and experienced international shippers - has successfully helped to facilitate cross-border trading by helping businesses manage complex duty regulations, shorten lengthy business processes, and lessen the stress of global trade management.
The addition of Trade Advisory Services completes the suite of products provided by the Global Trade Services platform to further simplify the process of international trade for businesses. This enhancement is launched in partnership with US-based company Sandler & Travis Trade Advisory Services (STTAS'), a prestigious and established international customs and trade consulting firm with vast experience around the globe.
Import Express Online (IEO), a customer facing web-based solution dedicated to automate and support the Import Express product offering. The improved security and increased control for importer to eliminate potential misuse of account numbers. The web-based service is part of DHL's continual efforts to enhance the features and offerings of Import Express - one of DHL's fastest growing products in Asia Pacific. Customers using this product enjoy the simplicity and control of one point of contact, one fixed price, and one invoice in their local currency for all their door-to-door import requirements from over 210 countries.
Since its launch 12 years ago, Import Express has been registering strong growth, and has consistently enjoyed 20 to 25 percent growth rate in Asia Pacific in the last few years.
